On pure chicken analysis alone, NO....NOTHING!!!
At Roselands shopping centre, they do some good fried chicken but it is just a poor substitute.
I worked at KFC when I was young and am privy to 2 of the secret herbs and spices - salt and pepper.
Oportos is cool. Nandos is a ripoff - selling Quail size "chickens" in my opinion. The Portuguese Chicken Shop in Petersham (Sydney, Australia) across the road from the old Roller Rink is awesome!
BUT, KFC wins overall!

Professor Sam's Charcoal Chicken at Blaxland used to be the best charcoal chicken in the known universe.

Unfortunately, Sam's had a fire over xmas & he's not currently in business.
